SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of the SBI Clerk 2025 exam are mainly about two pre-requisites:
SBI Clerk Educational Qualifications (as on 31/12/2025)
He/she must hold a valid graduation degree (UG) in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates should ensure that the date of passing the IDD.
Note: Candidates in the final year/semester of their graduation may also apply for the SBI Clerk exam. If provisionally selected, they will be required to produce proof of having passed their graduation examination.
SBI Clerk Age Limit (as on 01/04/2025)
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years, i.e. the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1997 and not later than 01.04.2005 (both days inclusive).

The SBI Clerk 2025 application process has been started on 6th August 2025 and the last date to apply online, as announced in notification, is 26th August 2025. The candidates are required to visit the official page of SBI to fill in the online application forms for the entire process to apply online for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam.
Application Fee
The category-wise fee structure for the SBI Clerk online application is given below. The application fee for the SBI Exam is Rs. 750/- for the General category and NIL for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD category as mentioned in SBI Clerk Notification 2025. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself.

Selection Procedure
Candidates are chosen for the Clerical Cadre position through the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2025 exam in two stages: the SBI Clerk Mains and Prelims tests, which are followed by the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). To receive an appointment letter from SBI, candidates must successfully complete both stages. There is no provision for junior associates to be recruited through interstate or intercaecal transfers.
Note- Trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks.

As per the official notification released by SBI, "No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed".
