IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship Program

A need-based financial aid program for first-year full-time MBA students is the IDFC FIRST Bank MBA Scholarship 2026–2028. The IDFC FIRST Bank launched this program to assist students from households earning less than INR 6,00,000 annually in continuing their postgraduate management study without facing financial obstacles. Over the course of the two-year MBA program, selected students will receive a total scholarship of INR 2,00,000, which will be distributed as INR 1,00,000 annually.

Eligibility

• Open to Indian nationals residing in India only.
• Students must be enrolled in the first year of a 2-year full-time MBA program or its equivalent for the class of 2026.
• Applicants must be enrolled in one of the MBA colleges listed in the attached document. (Eligible college list)
• The gross annual family income from all sources should be less than or equal to INR 6 lakh.
• Applicants must have a valid mobile number linked to their Aadhaar number.
• The earning member should not be an IDFC FIRST Bank employee.

Benefits

The selected MBA students will be awarded a scholarship sum of INR 2,00,000 for two years of full-time MBA studies (INR 1 lakh per annum, subject to terms and conditions*).

• Admission proof (including the name of the institution, admission year, and batch)
• Copy of fee receipt

Residence Proof / Age Proof:

• Birth Certificate / 10th Passing Certificate / Passport

Income Proof (anyone)

• Earning members income certificate
• 143(1) Document
• In case no earning member, No income certificate from authority is mandatory

Other Documents (if applicable)

• Disability certificate
• Sanctioned loan letter
• Death certificate, if there is a death of the sole earning member of the immediate family
• Documents of any other scholarships received for pursuing an MBA
