- The Minimum Age Limit for the candidates must be 20 years while the maximum age limit must be 25 years as on 1st August, 2026.
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from a University incorporated by an Act.
- Candidates with NCC 'B' or 'C' certificates will be given preference during the interview or personality test.
- Written Test:The written test consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Candidates must pass the written test and obtain UPSC Assistant Commandants Cut Off Marks to be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.
- Physical Tests:Male and female candidates take various physical tests to proceed to the Medical Standards examinations. Candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test and Medical exams will be invited to the 150-mark Interview stage.
- Medical Tests: Candidates have to clear the medical round to make it to the personal interview round, which is the last stage.
- Interview Round:The last round is the personal interview round, which is for 150 marks, after which the final merit list will be declared containing the names of the candidates who have made it through the recruitment process.
