Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for the IB MTS Recruitment 2025 must ensure that they fulfil the required eligibility criteria as specified by the officials. The requirements of the eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification and age limit have been mentioned below.

Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board, and

Application Fee

Candidates applying for the IB MTS Recruitment 2025 need to pay an application fee that includes an examination fee of Rs. 100 and recruitment processing charges of Rs. 550. Selection Process

IB MTS Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2025

The MTS Tier 1 Exam 2025 will be held online and will include multiple-choice questions. The exam is split into four sections with a total of 100 questions, each worth 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, 1/4 mark will be deducted. Candidates will have one hour to finish the exam.

IB MTS Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2025

The Tier 2 Exam will be a Descriptive Test on English Language and Comprehension. The exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks in Tier-ll are 20 out of 50.

Minimum Qualifying Percentage

In order to qualify for the IB MTS Exam, candidates have to score a minimum qualifying mark in Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Minimum Qualifying Percentage is as follows:

Tier 1 (Out of 100)

  • Unserved Category (UR) -30
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC)  -28
  • Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe (SC/ ST) – 25
  • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – 30

Tier 2 (Out of 50)

  • All Category – 20

Salary Structure

The chosen individuals will be paid a salary within Level-1 of the Pay Matrix, which ranges from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900, along with all the Central Government allowances they are eligible for. In addition to these standard benefits, they will also get a Special Security Allowance equal to 20% of their basic pay, which is separate from any other allowances that may apply. Moreover, they will receive cash payment for work done on holidays, but this will not exceed a maximum of 30 days.
