Territorial Army Officer Recruitment 2025
The hiring campaign for officer jobs in 2025 has been announced by the Territorial Army. Gainfully employed civilians now have an incredible opportunity to serve their country in a military setting without having to give up their primary careers. There are 19 openings in all, 18 for men and 1 for women. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online between May 12, 2025, and June 10, 2025. The tentative date of the online entrance exam is July 20, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Territorial Army Officer posts:
- Nationality: Only citizens of India (male and female) are eligible.
- Age Limits: Candidates must be between 18 and 42 years of age as of June 10, 2025 (the last day of application filing).
- Educational Qualifications: Applicants must hold a graduate degree from any recognized university.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit in all respects.
- Employment: Applicants must be gainfully employed.
Note: Serving members of the Regular Army/Navy/Air Force/Police/GREF/Para Military and like forces are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection procedure for Territorial Army Officers involves the following stages:
1. Online Entrance Examination:
- The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The standard of papers in Elementary Mathematics will be of Matriculation level, while for other subjects, it will be of a graduate level.
- The exam will consist of four parts: Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, General Knowledge, and English.
- Total marks will be 100, with 25 questions and 25 marks for each part.
- The duration of the exam is 02 hours.
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers (0.33% marks assigned to that question will be deducted).
2. Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB Interview):
- Candidates who qualify the online entrance exam will be called for an Intelligence and Personality Test at the Service Selection Board (SSB).
- This involves a two-stage selection procedure:
- Stage I: Includes a Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test on the first day. Candidates qualifying this stage will proceed to Stage II.
- Stage II: Remaining tests.
3. Document Verification:
Candidates qualifying the SSB interview will undergo document verification.
- The final merit list for male and female candidates will be prepared separately based on total marks secured in the online entrance examination and SSB tests.
Fees
- Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only).
- Payment can only be made through the modes prescribed on the website.
- Applications submitted without the prescribed fee/mode will be summarily rejected.
- Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
