Post-Matric Scholarship
Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi 2024-25 is a centrally-sponsored scholarship offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and managed by the Department of Welfare of SC/ST/OBC. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to support students who are studying at the post-matriculation/post-secondary level. The selected students will receive up to ₹10,000 to cover tuition fees and an annual academic allowance of up to ₹10,000.

Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be domiciled in Delhi
- belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) category
- be studying at the post-matriculation/post-secondary level of studies in a government-recognised institution
- have an annual parent(s)/guardian income of not more than ₹2,50,000
- have secured an attendance of at least 75% in the previous year
Note:-
- Applicants, who after completing one stage of education, continue studying in the same stage but in a different subject e.g. pursuing I.Sc. after an I.A., or opting for a B.Com. after B.A., or enrolling in an M.A. program in a different subject are ineligible.
- Applicants who, have already completed their education in one professional line, for instance, pursuing L.L.B. after B.T./B.Ed are ineligible.

- Aadhaar card of the applicant
- Aadhaar-seeded bank account details of the student
- Certificate, diploma, degree, marksheet for all previously passed examinations
- Caste certificate issued in the name of the students or their father’s by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi
- Original fee receipts for the current academic session
- Fee structure with the official letterhead of the concerned institute with stamp and signature of the head of the institute
- Income certificate issued by the competent authority SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD] of Delhi
- Certificate from the institution confirming that the student is not receiving any other scholarship or stipend
- Incomplete applications will be treated as cancelled without giving any information.
- The provisions of this scheme can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Central/State Government.
- For institutions located outside of Delhi, applicants must upload the below two verification pages to the e-district portal:
- the institute verification page
- the parent/guardian verification page
- A maximum of two male candidates from the same family can receive scholarships. However, this restriction does not apply to female candidates. In other words, scholarships granted to female candidates will not affect the eligibility of up to two male candidates from the same family to receive scholarships
