Job Description

Through Advertisement No. 07/2025, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)-Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), Dehradun, has issued a notice for the 14 Technical Assistant and Technician (I) positions. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online using the link below between July 28, 2025, and August 18, 2025. Name of the Posts: 

• Technical Assistant: 07 Posts
• Technician: 07 Posts

Age Limit: (18 to 28 years as on 18.08.2025)

• For General / EWS: Born not earlier than 19.08.1997 and not later than 18.08.2007. (both dates inclusive)
• For OBC: Born not earlier than 19.08.1994 and not later than 18.08.2007. (both dates inclusive)
• For SC / ST: Born not earlier than 19.08.1992 and not later than 18.08.2007. (both dates inclusive)

Qualification: 

• For Technical Assistant: Degree / Diploma in relevant trade.
• For Technician: Matriculation (10th) passed + Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.

Fees: Rs. 500/- for General / EWS / OBC candidates and There is no fee for SC / ST / PwBD / ExSm / Female candidates. Fees should be paid through Online via Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.

Selection Process: The Selection will be based on for the posts of Technical Assistant and Technician in CSIR IIP Recruitment 2025 are given below:

• Written Test
• Skill / Trade Test
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination 

Pay Scale: 

• For Technical Assistant: Rs. 63996/-
• For Technician: Rs. 35804/-
