Selection Process

• Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening Committee duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-NGRI will be called for a Trade Test.
• Trade Test is intended to test the candidate’s practical knowledge as mentioned in the Nature of Job/ Job requirement.
• The Selection Committee will decide the mode of Trade Test and also conduct the Trade Test.
• The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding on the candidates.
• Those candidates who qualify for the trade test will be eligible to take part in the Competitive Written Examination (CWE).
• The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the Competitive Written Examination.
• Competitive Written Examination consists of one paper. The Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in this paper.

How to Apply

• Candidates are advised to go through carefully the instructions placed on the website for online filling of the application.
• Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE by accessing our website https://www.ngri.res.in/
• Candidate has to register with valid Email Address by accessing “New Registration” button on the top of the panel: (Follow the instructions on the page)
• After successful Registration process, the candidates can login using their credentials to apply through the Online Application Portal.
• Candidates are advised to follow the instructions while applying.
• If a candidate does not have a valid email ID, he/she should create a new valid email ID before applying online and should be kept active during the entire recruitment process.
