Automation at Amazon Robotics Fulfillment centers is made possible by this team. This team provides automation, including offline (image/video) and real-time data auditing capabilities, to the Amazon Internal Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics teams. Supporting the fulfillment facilities in preserving inventory accuracy is one of this team's core efforts.

In order to identify the activity seen in the film, an Associate in this position must study the video of the stowing operation at a fulfillment center, fully comprehend it, and utilize their best judgment in conjunction with the tools and resources. They are supposed to use a tool to mark or confirm the product's location with the utmost precision. This procedure aids in preserving the overall quality of the fulfillment center. This position is operational. Under general supervision, the Associate quickly and accurately completes detailed video/image audits, which helps to reduce defects.

Key job responsibilities

The Associate must watch hundreds of films during a shift and respond by adhering to standards for correctness (quality), productivity (speed), and appropriate behavior. Associates must make sure they spend 6.8 to 7 hours a day answering the videos and take breaks during the designated times. When working from home, associates should have a designated workspace with a table, chair, and enough lighting. (2) Only employees should have access to workspaces and work-related data.

A day in the life

Associates work in 24x7 environment with rotational shifts. Associates would be working in a 9 hour shift, including pre-scheduled breaks. The shift timings would be subject to change every 3-4 months or as per business requirement. In case associate is working in night shift, night shift allowance will be provided as per applicable Amazon’s work policy.

Weekly Offs: Rotational two-consecutive day off (it is a 5-day working week with 2 consecutive days off, not necessarily Saturday and Sunday) or as per business discretion.

About The Team

Through visual audits of videos and photographs, the Data Auditing Operations team offers human support to Amazon Fulfillment facilities with the aim of facilitating hands-free active stowing. Brief videos, usually lasting 15 to 20 seconds, are submitted to the Operations Team for human review in order to gather data on the products kept at fulfillment facilities.
