Selection Process?

The selection process consists of three stages. Only candidates who clear each stage proceed to the next.

  • Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Written Examination
  • Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)

Exam Pattern

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) format will be used for the Haryana Court Clerk exam. To be eligible, candidates must receive at least 33% in each subject.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared completely on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The merit score will be calculated using the following criteria:

  • Normalised marks of the General Knowledge section
  • Actual marks obtained in the English section

Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, the tie will be resolved using the following criteria:

  • Older candidates will be given preference
  • If the tie remains, alphabetical order of candidate names (A to Z) will be considered

Salary

For clerical positions in District Courts, the Haryana Court Clerk Recruitment 2026 pays compensation in accordance with the pay structure established by the Haryana Government. In addition to other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and medical benefits in accordance with government regulations, selected candidates will get an approximate monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Pay Level-4).

How Will the SSSC Merit List Be Made?

Your final job selection depends entirely on one paper.

  • The Main Core: The final merit list will be prepared purely based on the marks you secure in the written Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • CPT is Safe Gate: The computer and typing test are just clear/fail rounds. They do not add extra marks to your rank.
  • Tie Breaker: If two students get the same marks, the candidate who is older in age will be given a higher rank in the final selection list.
