It has been announced that the IB ACIO Notification 2025 will be used to fill 3717 positions for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive positions. Eligibility Criteria

The Intelligence Bureau IB ACIO Exam 2025 is open to officers who are employed by the Defense Forces, State Police Organizations, or Central Police Organizations. Candidates must meet the IB ACIO eligibility requirements listed in the IB ACIO Notification 2025 in order to be qualified for ACIO Grade-II/Executive, as explained below:

Nationality

The candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for the IB Recruitment 2025. They must have relevant document proof in support of their claim, being citizens of India

Education Qualification

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation Degree from a recognized University to be eligible to apply for the IB ACIO 2025 Exam.

Age Limit (as on 10/08/2025)

The candidate’s minimum age should not be less than 18 years, and the  maximum age should not be more than 27 years to be eligible to apply online for IB ACIO Vacancy 2025.

Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop)(i) Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics. OR (ii) A Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Chargeman (Mechanic)(i) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production Engineering. (ii) Two years’ experience in quality control/assurance/testing/proof in design/production/maintenance of engineering equipment.
Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)Diploma in Chemical Engineering with two years experience in Quality Control/Assurance/Testing in Chemical Engineering or Processing.
Chargeman (Electrical)Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics. OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Pharmacist(i) 12th pass with Science. (ii) Diploma in Pharmacy. (iii) Registered as Pharmacist. (iv) Two years experience. (v) Working knowledge of computer.
Cameraman(i) Matriculation. (ii) Diploma/Certificate in Printing Technology. (iii) 5 years’ experience operating process cameras. OR 10 years experience for ex-Servicemen.
Store Superintendent (Armament)(i) Degree in Science with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics with basic computer knowledge and one year experience. OR (ii) 10+2 in Science or Commerce with five years experience in stores’ work.
Fire Engine Driver(i) 12th class pass. (ii) Must possess Heavy Motor Vehicle license. (iii) Must pass physical fitness and endurance tests.
Fireman(i) 12th class pass. (ii) Must pass physical fitness and endurance tests.
Storekeeper/ Storekeeper (Armament)10+2 or equivalent with one-year experience in inventory related stores work.
Civilian Motor Driver Ordinary Grade(i) Matriculation. (ii) Must possess a driving license for Heavy Vehicles and Motor Cycles. (iii) One year practical experience in HMV driving.
Tradesman Mate(i) 10th Standard pass. (ii) Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the relevant trade.
Pest Control Worker(i) Matriculation or equivalent. (ii) Must have knowledge of Hindi or regional language.
Bhandari(i) 10th pass. (ii) Knowledge of swimming. (iii) One year experience as Cook.
Lady Health VisitorMatriculation Standard and should have special training after her basic Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery course.
Multi Tasking Staff (Ministerial)Matriculation or equivalent or Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) pass.

Selection Process

The selection process is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that the most deserving candidates are selected. It will consist of the following stages:

1. Screening of Applications: Initial screening of online applications for eligibility.
2. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test): All eligible candidates will be called for an online computer-based examination. The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Exam Pattern:
  • General Intelligence: 25 Questions
  • General Awareness: 25 Questions
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions
  • English Language: 25 Questions
  • Total: 100 Questions
  • Duration: 90 Minutes

3. Physical / Skill / Proficiency Test (as applicable):
  • For posts like Fireman and Fire Engine Driver, a Physical Standard and Endurance Test will be conducted (qualifying in nature).
  • For Civilian Motor Driver, a driving skill test will be mandatory.
  • For Bhandari, a swimming test must be qualified.
  • For various MTS posts (Ward Sahayka, Dresser, Dhobi, Mali, Barber), a proficiency test relevant to the trade will be conducted.

4. Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification.

5. Medical Examination: Final appointment is subject to clearing the medical examination as per the standards specified by the Indian Navy.
